The house is facing a number of structural issues that need to be urgently addressed. There are number of issues, some small, some large. The two main structural problems that are urgent and need to be solved are:
Collapsing South Wall
Cost estimate 600,000
Due to soft underground and the weight of the building the wall is near collapse. The risk is that it could take the structure with it. So Heng Tai needs competent architects and teams to stabilize the buildings and replace the wall.

The last renovation is over 40 years ago. The architect at that time removed the original tiles and replaced them with cement tiles and cement overlay which increased the weight of the roof more than five times what the structure can bear.
